Weekly statistics between July 18, 2021 and July 24, 2021

This week 258 observers made 1322 observations between Sunday, July 18, 2021 to Saturday, July 24, 2021. Among the top five observers, @jmgconsult observed 158 examples of life in the Anacostia watershed; @dtread1 contributed 80; @stephen220 contributed 69; @abookb contributed 44; and @ronwertz contributed 40. Rounding out the top 13, @wildlymistaken contributed 33; @chipperbirders contributed 29; @nwright_ contributed 25; @flor4141 contributed 23; and @alliedodson, @kristin-marie, @owlice, and @woodcut55 each contributed 22. 129 people contributed one observation, 41 people contributed two observations, and 21 people contributed 3 observations. Insects (547 observations) stayed in first place over Plants (410 observations) for first place. Birds stayed in third place (120 observations). Mollusca again had the fewest observations, with two; no Protozoans were observed for the second week in a row.
