Sometimes, individual frogs display blue coloration that is not typical of their species. In particular, many frogs are green, which is produced through the combination of a yellow pigment and structural blue coloration. Changes in diet or genetic mutations can reduce the amount of yellow pigment in the skin, such that a normally green frog appears blue. We want to track which species have these brilliant blue aberrants and also where they occur.
