Projet AOQM / AOQM Project

Among others, Mr. Jean-François Desroches, teacher in Bioecology Techniques (Cégep de Sherbrooke) and Mr. Jean-François Roch, specialist, among others, hemiptera of Quebec. The latter is currently working on an update of the distribution of orthoptera in Quebec, mainly from the various institutional and private collections in Quebec.

In the coming years, efforts will be made to direct research according to priorities that will arise as the project progresses.

Those interested in contributing their observations or participating in the planned inventories must join the project.

Some of the information gathered during the project will be compiled using iNaturalist. Other data collection mechanisms are provided for those who would like to further their contribution outside of iNaturalist.

Watch the project log and thank you for your participation.
