Dry spell could be contributing to increased coyote sightings.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) – People living in a Carmel Mountain neighborhood say they have noticed a significant increase in coyotes in their streets.

Wildlife officials question Facebook post claiming wolves living on Millville Plains.

Kent Laudon, a wolf specialist with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, said he had his doubts about the information. First, news of that many wolf kills would have reached wildlife officials, and while the canines in the picture do look similar to wolves, tell-tale signs prove they're not, he said.
