What an Awesome Weekend!

Thank you! Thank you for all of your hard work taking pictures and identifying the beautiful nature that surrounds us! I couldn't be happier for our first CNC. I looked at the Wichita Falls count and it looks like they beat us by about 400 observations but they had 3 times the number of observers, so I'm still calling it a win!

WOWSER!!!

We almost tripled our first day!! This was an awesome day, it was really muggy but got a lot of good pics and I know that I learned several new species. Maybe some of these plants will stick in my head! Hopefully, I'll find as many tomorrow. Kudos to several of you that are either over the 100 observations or are quickly nearing it! Call your friends and family and get them in on this. If we can double or triple the number of observers tomorrow just think of the numbers we can get to! Outstanding job thus far!

Great Opening Day!

Keep it going Big Country! I know it's a Friday and it's been raining but I'm impressed with our numbers so far! This is are first time, so I'm not sure what totals we should be at but I think we are off to a great start! I want to challenge us to try to double or even triple this number tomorrow! Hopefully the weather behaves and we get the chance. Make sure you turn on the porch lights and get some pictures of those insects!!!
