This project is intended to help organize the collection information associated with a pilot Presidio coyote scat project. Through a collaboration with the Presidio Trust and UC Davis, we hope to collect coyote scats for a genomic diet analysis. This project will ultimately seek to collect scat from across San Francisco.

This project is intended to help organize the collection information associated with a pilot Presidio coyote scat project. Through a collaboration with the Presidio Trust and UC Davis, we hope to collect coyote scats for a genomic diet analysis. This project will ultimately seek to collect scat from across San Francisco.
Each observation will be associated with a physical collection. If you cannot physically collect the scat, make it clear (you will be prompted to answer this when submitting an observation) so one of the project curators can go collect the scat.
Please review the associated protocol (PDF file link to be added). It is important to capture all relevant information.
