Welcome to Spider Crab Watch

Hello spider crab fans!

I am Dr Elodie Camprasse from Deakin University and I'd like to welcome you to Spider Crab Watch.

We need your help to find out more about the mysterious spider crabs and their aggregations. To gather ecological information about spider crabs, understand when and where they are found - alone and in groups! - and where they are not found, we'd love for you to keep an eye out for them. If you're exploring Port Phillip Bay - whether it'd be diving, snorkelling, fishing, boating, kayaking, walking on the beach, etc - please log sightings to let us know when you see and don't see spider crabs.
