Expanding the project to sample the urban plant species in Benin
We have sampled vegetation of the main cities of Benin including Kandi, Parakou, Save, Calavi, Bohicon and now expanding to Natitingou and Djougou. This project focuses on Caloropis procera and measuring the geographic mosaic of its interaction with Danaus chrysippus and Aphis neeri, a tritrophic interaction that has an equivalent in temperate regions between Milkweed, Monarch butterfly and aphids.
