Hello everyone who participated in Monterey Bay's CNC last year in 2023!

I'm reaching out just to let you know that this year's project just finalized and the results were awesome! I wanted to thank you all from last year who made this year a success. If you'd like to read more about how this year went, I just finished a giant journal post about it!

CHECK IT OUT Y'ALL!

If you'd like to join in on volunteering for next year's event, planning meetings start in August. Reach out to me at MontereyCNC@proton.me.

Cheers!

CNC 2024 planning is underway! SAVE THE DATE!

Hello everyone, and hopefully this works to get your attention! It's just a few short months until the winter lifts and we'll be ready for the next City Nature Challenge! Monterey Bay showed up last year with some awesome numbers, and we're looking to have even more participation this time. The dates in 2024 will be April 26-29, and I'm hoping to see you all out in the field again.

I'll be switching back and forth between updates on social media and at the BRAND NEW MONTEREY BAY AREA CNC page. Feel free to join the project now so you can follow along with journal updates there as we get closer to the event!

If you volunteered your time last year and would like to help out again, just reach out to Sarah-Mae and me at MontereyCNC@proton.me and we'll be sure to get you in the loop. Any fellow Climate Stewards and California Naturalists that need volunteer hours for (re-)certification are definitely welcome to join us!

We're excited for this year and thank you all who made last year such a successful and fun project. Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and Happy iNatting!
