the Bird was sitting on top of a bare branch. All fluffed up against the cold wind.
This bird was fishing along the Jetty with success
There were several though out the marsh but his one choose to land right next to me
Sitting on a lamp post at a Marina. Just rotating the head. Then two flew over head a couple of times cruising the shore.

Was sitting on a post when I first saw it. then it flew and tried to catch something in the grass. didn't ever see any prey

There were several large flocks feeding on the cedar berries. A little conflict with the robins but the cedar waxwings out numbered the robins
Flew in with a snake in it mouth
Was sitting at the top of a mesquite singing loudly
These three bird where on a bush warming up and preening. First time I have seen this bird

Being eaten by black crowned night heron. the snake wrapped itself around some sticks and the heron had a very difficult time getting the snake killed and removed from the stick.

This bird came flying down the wetland flushing everything. the black necked stilts began chasing because they nest near by. When the Cara Cara came back down the wetland it was chasing a willet, the chase went back and forth, and finally the Cara Cara knocked the willet into the water and killed it. However the water was to deep for the Cara Cara to pick up the bird. The Cara Cara are nesting in the preserve also
