Ōtari Wilton’s Bush, bush garden below Wilton Rd carpark. Growing on stump. This shows the mass of spores that are released and that they often don’t travel very far even in Wellington’s windy weather.
these white and grey mushrooms were growing together, tightly clustered on a tree trunk and around its base
