On dry sandstone ridges more often in shade of bigger shrubs and trees. Apparently only know from Tshipise kopje so glad to have extended the range. These Karoo formation sandstone ridges also occur in Zimbabwe and in Botswana so then the species should be present there as well? Plants in more sun were much more desiccated and obviously with no flowers
