Blacklighting at Bill Baggs with permission. This was on the bathroom building lit by two blacklights hooked up to USB battery packs.
Full moon and windy conditions limited how many insects I got (there were almost no mosquitoes, a bad sign when it comes to blacklighting). See link at the bottom for details about my various set ups for the night and my 2024 CNC in general.

Walking around Robin's birding trail at night, mostly looking closely at vegetation for spiders and insects. I had permission to blacklight at Bill Baggs. Conditions were not ideal as a full moon and windy conditions limited quantity and quality of sheet visitors. There were almost no mosquitoes, a bad sign when it comes to blacklighting! See link at the bottom for details about my various set ups for the night and my 2024 CNC in general.

Made some sugar bait to see what insects would visit. This zale moth was the highlight and I otherwise only noticed some ants visiting the bait despite spreading it around in many different places! I was also blacklighting here at Bill Baggs with permission.

Blacklighting at Bill Baggs with permission. This was at a sheet I set up flat on the boardwalk (too windy to hang up). I lit it up with two blacklights hooked up to USB battery packs. Interesting seeing which insects were around the dunes!
