When I moved to San Jose in 2013, I was very disappointed that there wasn't any real natural spaces around me as I had been used to in all my other living arrangements. After 4 and a 1/2 years I discovered the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority and my whole attitude changed. I hope that participating in this project, visiting some of these places, learning about the wild things that grow here will inspire you and motivate you to observe and protect them as it has me!
