Studying the LRG Valley

This spring we were invited to take part in a study of the fauna and flora of some selected areas in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. We will be providing insect and nocturnal specimen surveying with stationary lighting rigs, bucket traps and transit based sampling efforts. We will post our results here. All specimens will end up housed in our collection at the Sam Houston State Natural History Collections building in Huntsville,Texas.
