On February 21, our class went to the Santee Coastal Reserve. The weather was good, around 70 degrees and mostly sunny. The coolest part of the trip was being able to see a bald eagle amongst turkey vultures. We also saw an alligator, some frogs, fungi, and the home of an endangered woodpecker. There was a distinct sap along the tree where the woodpecker lives.
