I took my nature walk at Bartlett Arboretum and gardens in Connecticut. I decided to see if any of my family members wanted to join me on the walk, so my mom and dog accompanied me. It was fairly warm with sunny skies and little wind. The temperature read 86ºC out, but the shade from the trees didn’t make it too bad. The time I was Wednesday from 3:00PM to 4:00PM but only took photos in the first 30 minutes. The bugs were slightly annoying but not unbearable. I really liked walking along these trails. This was the first time I have been to that location, and it was really enjoyable. I had no trouble finding different moss, fungi, and lichen on this walk and it was really fascinating applying the knowledge that we learned this week with the actual environment outside. It is always good to take a step back from the books and respect the true beauty of the experience.
