I was able to use iNaturalist for the first time as part of our class field trip. It was easy to learn and really exciting to know that I am joining a worldwide database of people with similar interests.
I was walking around the Cedar Canyon Nature Park outside of Cedar City, UT and I came across some mammal scat. It was in an area with small trees, sagebrush, and various grasses. It was a very hot day (mid 90s) and I didn't see any mammals out to provide any clues. I noticed the scat was round and fairly old because it was really dry and fading in color.
I'm excited to learn more information about this.
