Location: Outside of Cedar Breaks National Monument
Directions: Head East out of Cedar City, Utah up highway 14. Travel up the canyon about 17 miles and turn left towards Cedar Breaks. About 2 miles up this road is an open field surrounded by trees.
Habitat: The terrain was mostly grasses and pine trees, each covering about 50% of the area. Few rocks on the ground. The slope was about 8%

Species List: Mule Deer (4 in the group)
Comments: We spotted 4 Mule deer on the drive up to Cedar Breaks. They appeared to eating. We saw a total of about 20 deers, but the other were too far away to take a photo.
