My first two weeks

I'm a casual but enthusiastic naturalist with a not-so-great memory. So, I want to keep track of things I'm learning about as I go.

My first two weeks on iNaturalist have been exciting! I've learned more than I expected to about things I didn't even know existed.

So far:

• hover flies
• spittlebugs
• monocots vs. dicots
• shelf fungi
• hawk moths

Plus, found some beautiful, new (to me) plants from around the world by wading through others' observations. This is a wonderful place to be when I can't be outdoors!
