500

Yesterday I reached 500 different species on iNaturalist. I'm so grateful for this community and all of the identification, knowledge, and patience it has shown a novice as myself. I've become so much more aware of nature in all my surroundings. I can look out my window and see not just relatively common birds such as House Finches, Dark Eyed Juncos, and Mourning Doves, but also Western Meadowlarks and Cedar Waxwings. I've also learned to re-appreciate how lucky I am to live so close to places where one can very quickly and easily get lost in nature. Thanks again to everyone who has ever identified anything I've posted, created wonderful projects I've joined, and very patiently explained to me over and over the differences between different Cormorants. I hope to be able to pass on the limited knowledge I've learned. Thanks!
