Juvenile Texas Horned Lizard approximately 1" from head to base of tail. No apparent mites or injuries. Placed back in flowerbed. Lower populated area of East Lubbock.
Temporarily captured to observe and make notes but returned to wild. Location marked is aproximate

Larger Texas Horned Lizard observed. Approximately 3'+ from head to base of tail. Appeared healthy. No overt behavioral abnormalities. Docile. No apparent mites or injuries. Found in the middle of the road. Released into our yard with access to ants and places to hide.
Coloring was a medium grey brown with darker spots. According to another observer this one appears to be close to a molting period.
