A nice change of pace from all the Steatoda nobilis near my apartment.

Found rappelling down some silk in my bathroom.

Suspect it's Scotophaeus blackwalli, but I have no idea how to confidently rule out other gnaphosids.

Landed on me as I was walking outside. Siphanta acuta?

About 3-4 inches long

Lordy it's a pain taking photos of small critters with a camera phone. Markings look like S. grossa to me.

Found indoors. Maybe an Anyphaena species?
