3 days to the 2022 City Nature Challenge!

Nature is all around us in Northern Utah – and we need your help photographing it from April 29 -May 2, during The 2022 City Nature Challenge! This annual global event records biodiversity in and around cities worldwide. The observations you make will showcase Utah's unique biodiversity on a global scale. Observations will be automatically counted in our local project, and also contribute to the collective global bioblitz, with over 400 participating cities. We call our "city" Utah's Wasatch (a combination of Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, Utah, Wasatch, and Weber Counties).

Last year, the Utah project gathered 5,900 observations...can we make more this year? We can't do with without you!

How to take part:
-Make iNaturalist observations of the wild living things (or evidence of the wild living things) you find in Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, Wasatch, Weber and Utah counties from April 29 - May 2
-Explore on your own, or join a local event
-Get the word out to your friends and family!
-Join the 2022 City Nature Challenge: The Wasatch project for updates.
