Mosquito records going back to 2010
I was able to upload a variety of mosquito photos going back to 2010. It looks like I'm not averse to taking a picture of a mosquito when I find one biting me! I don't generally recommend this procedure, since it exposes you to any potential pathogens the mosquito could transmit. The risk was low during the period in question, but it is important to realize that pathogens such as Dengue or now Chikungunya virus can be imported by a sick traveller. A better procedure is to catch and immobilize the mosquito (for example put it in the freezer) and then snap a picture.
