Plants of the Maricopa Trail

This page is for recording the many plants that occur along the Maricopa Trail in Maricopa County. This will serve as baseline data to assist with care and management of the Trail and parks.

The Maricopa Trail is currently a 315-mile loop trail that links 10 of Maricopa County's Regional parks:

Buckeye Hills Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Estrella Mountain Regional Park
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
Usery Mountain Regional Park
White Tank Mountain Regional Park

The Maricopa Trail is nearly 90% complete to date.
