Featured observation: Azure bluet
This week's feature is an azure bluet, photographed and logged by iNaturalist user @ama75 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec
Bluets are damselflies known for their vibrant colours and the azure bluet is certainly no exception. Both male and female azure bluets display their titular colours, with males being differentiated by their large “eyespots” on the back of their heads. This species can be found in still, fishless, bodies of water

Observation en vedette: Agrion saupoudré
L'observation en vedette de cette semaine est un agrion saupoudré photographié et enregistré par l'utilisateur d'iNaturalist @ama75 à Trois-Rivières.
Les agrions saupoudrés sont des demoiselles vivement colorées que l’on trouve près des plans d’eau calmes et sans poissons. Tant les mâles que les femelles sont d'un azur brillant, les mâles ayant de grands "ocelles" à l'arrière de la tête.
