Interesting specimen with a crooked dorsal line. Among the hundreds of frogs a couple of them had dorsal line distortions, the most prominent one being the soecimen in this photo.

Melanistic morph.

Question to experts: I tend to pick ticks off of tortoises whenever I find them, does my well-intended behaviour hurt them?

We believe it to be a taurus frog juvenile, this is a small brown variation.
There is no line on its dorsal side.
