Description: Body cylindrical, 8mm long. Tips of inner tarsal teeth widely separated. Pygidium with projecting carina.

Notes: Separated from other members of the A. anxius species complex by the dark copper-red coloration.

Attracted to light in old field - garden - mixed woods habitat along coast of Northumberland Strait.

I just found this beauty hiding in plain sight in a photo of an Azalea Sphinx Moth that I took last summer (2nd photo). Pretty bad image but I thought it might be identifiable with brick-red head and thorax and some greenish bands in the clear wings. I figured it would be Oncopsis but nothing seems to match. @hopperdude @nomolosx Any ideas? :)
