What is going on here?

Location: Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia

An incredibly tiny fly that flew from flower to flower to feed from it.

Hatched 6 days after female laid eggs in the plastic glass.
Female caught on the wing as she flew clumsily through the dry rainforest understory. Rainforest Patch.

This specimen observed high up in a Fig Tree, Rainforest Patch.
There were 3 calling, 2 in the fig tree and one further up the gully. Haven’t observed them here before this.

Mating pair seen on Acacia on beach access approx 8pm, 10 March 2021

Part of the Psychoda alternata complex. Finally something a bit more interesting! And Floofy, Attracted to light.

Saved from paddling pool. It did survive and fly away after it dried out its wings. Perhaps 5mm long, long body, striped.

One of the smaller masked bees found here.Whit/cream markings on face, legs, neck area.

Later instar ochterid nymph. Body length approx. 4mm.

Darwinia sp. Ravensthorpe

I'd expect to see these froggy legs on a wasp, but not a fly.
