State endangered, globally rare. This is the fourth observation in all of iNat. Leaves are like Carex vestita but glabrous perigynia puts it into section Paniceae. Plants are widely spaced on long rhizomes. This is a known population, not my find, but still awesome to see. Protected by our state endangered species act which turned 30 years old last year.
