Three plants (two pictured). Surprised us as they're under a house where there wouldn't be a lot of light, though there are no green leaves so maybe that makes sense.

Another location for new Crassula species awaiting description

"Carpeting" the ground in some areas on the upper reaches of this moist south-facing slope which is close to a gully.

A few Crassula simulans plants were found growing among this species as shown in one of the photos. (Link to obs of Crassula simulans: http://www.ispotnature.org/node/828290 )
Only dry flowerheads were found (as can be seen in some of the photos)

Similiar to Crassula capensis, but this one has long hairs on the leaves and leaves have very wavy margins

I^m thinking Crassula...

Fleshy leaves with scalloped margins and plenty of relatively longish hairs on top (smooth underneath). Younger plants seem to have round leaves but the leaves seem to become more elongated in bigger plants.
Further to my previous observation on 2/6/16 where the little leaves appeared to be singular... they have now developed more leaves. Many have a thin flower stalk coming out from the centre of the leaves with either a single flower or possibly an umbel (not sure if that's the correct term) with about 5 flowers.
I dug up 1 plant and it has roots with about 4 or 5 coriander-seed sized nodules
There must have been at least 100 plants in the few square metres where I saw these. I will have to go back to see if they occur further up the gorge as well.
Not sure what the threats would be...

Tiny thick & hairy-leafed plants

These were just about "carpeting" the sandy areas on the sides of the gorge between the rocks.
Wondering whether the red bit on the end of the leaves in these photos might be a flower?
Leaves were maybe 1-2cm diameter.
