This egret caught a fish and proceeded to eat it. Lovely sighting

Saw the male and female parents around the nest - Orange breasted Sunbirds

Female. Both male and female were bombing the owl.
Owl's face is a treat.

Small patch on rocky mountain slope slightly shaded but amongst fynbos - not confined to rocky outcrop.

lvs dimorphic, very local

one can just see the stigma peeping through.

Lovely begging child - parent interaction. Second parent was on the other side of the gorge and communicating - which caught their attention on the last image
