Small mammal (up to 550 mm long and 4.5 kg in weight), with a robust body but no tail. This particular animal had a different coloured coat to all other Hyrax that I've seen. His fur was grey, white black and brown, his nose was pink. It's eyes were also lighter than usual.

Found on stoep in late afternoon sun - both parties rather dead and dry.
