Hard to tell from Early Marsh-orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata (L.) Soó) but leaf shape and spots on flowers seem more consistent with D. praetermissa (Druce) Soó.

Pushing through a bed of Hedera helix L. growing up and around several trees and covering the soil in between. Soil is a corporation-planted bit of ground with trees between carpark and main road (opposite entrance of St Catherine’s Church if trying to find it). One single D. praetermissa on the whole plot, poking up through the H. helix. No sign of any others in leaf or in bloom. A lucky spot one morning!
