My first sighting of a male peacock spider! Based on the ID resource/paper in the Peacock Spider Project it looks to be Maratus plumosus - plumed peacock spider. He waved one leg in the air once (no photo); no other displaying behaviour seen. He jumped away as quickly as he arrived. Not great shots, but I was very excited to spot him.

Unsure whether this observation of another jumping spider nearby is related?
