An extended noon break allowed me a stroll through the "Schwanheimer Düne", an inland dune formed by the last ice age. The dry, sandy ground attracts a special array of plants and animals. I have already posted a couple of photos from there a few days ago.
As it is nature reserve, people must not leave the paths. But you can find quite a few interesting plants next to them.
For those who know the place: Die meisten Aufnahmen stammen von dem Weg, der am südlichen Ende des Bohlenwegs links abzweigt.
I have only seen two or three of these this year, except at Schwanheimer Düne.
