Bright yellow flower with dark brown center
on my way home from my parents house i stopped by the Southwest Nature Preserve It was very muddy and I did not have my hiking shoes so i followed the paved path to the pond I observed some wild flowers
i believe this to be a type of echinacea... It can"t be the yellow coneflower because the petals are not pure yellow
After reviewing a texas wildflower index (http://www.texaswildflowerpictures.com/texas-wildflower-index-yellow.htm ) it appears this is a brown eyed susan
Close to other types of these Genus Agave they must like to be grouped together, also lots of these plants all over the trial
