Location- Thousand Step Trail (Franklin Mountains)
This Daisy bush had a mixture between the actual flowers and the dried ones which become what we know as dandelions, as well as dried flowers that are simply just dried out. The flowers are small and yellow with an average of 6-10 petals per flower and a large stem giving them height. The dandelions, white hair ball, are thin and fragile with an even length of hair throughout, that sprouts in a star like base and then sprouts again at the ends of each section creating that sphere like shape. The leaves are lanceolate shaped meaning its thick at the bottom and really thin at the tip creating a point.
Shrub, with visible flower. Thing stems, small leaves, almost grey like foliage covers the leaf. Flower is purple in center and pinkish outer color.
