Some very large rabbit scat. No brown hares in WA
Rabbit scat. Saw a rabbit but didn’t get a photo.
Probably killed by fox while looking to lay eggs. Fox scat was beside front left leg (third image), placed on carapace for image 1.
Note all the leg bones were sheared off, broken bone sticking out. No head or neck. Indicates fox rather than raptor. 4th image - possible beak marks from scavenging raptor on shell. Raptor probably found it dead. Fox also likely to have marked the shell with scat sometime after death. Very rotten when found.
Nesting burrow for rainbow bee-eater. No fresh tracks.
Fox tracks way out on sandbar in Swan River. Still low tide. Sandbar used by many species of shore and wetland birds.
Red fox tracks along edge of river.
No idea. Strange growth on leaf of young Tuart tree.
Scat with seeds. Probably ficus (Fig) that grows wild in creeks
Top and lower jaw of a young pig. First two images top. Last two lower.
Chased away by ravens before I could get another photo
Footprints are domestic dog. Scat on sandy firebreak track. Contains seeds.
Contains fig seeds. Lots of introduced fig trees grow in this area
Probable site where red fox ate swamphen. Dog lead 24mm wide.
Juvenile rabbit remains- fur only. Tail on left side. Dog nose for scale.
Former nesting burrow of rainbow bee-eater.
