Over 100 flowers! Branching like crazy. White pollen on triangular anthers. No dark spots on the calyces. Stem is glandular top to bottom. Basal leaves are red and somewhat erect, and have spines at the tip of each lobe.
I was told this is Verde Valley Sage, I guess it is also called Purple Sage?? It is fairly rare in the area in which I found it.
