Not 100% sure. The animal removal guy who had extracted this bat from a nearby home ID'ed it as a little brown bat.

Brian and I had driven up from Windsor to what was then our cottage, the evening before for the long Easter weekend, and entered from the door by the driveway. The next morning when I opened the lake-side door, this bat did not like being awakened.
Dans la grotte de Pointe Comfort, à 60 m de l'entrée. Creusée dans le marbre cristallin. 5 individus solitaires au total dans la grotte (2015). La mention que j'en avait fait auparavant était une erreur, elle a été éliminée.
Identification: petite taille, foururre brun-roux, masque facial noir, oreilles uropatagium et ailes noirs.

I found this bat in my workshop deceased. Believed to be a silver haired bat.

Found inside house (cats alerted us to its presence). Seemed to be having trouble getting off the ground but then flew up to a window. Collected and moved outside where it flew off after some convincing.
