En 2018 observé un hongo cuya particularidad es que parasita a Chrozophora oblicua y la curiosidad es que solo aparece en la base de las hojas, sobre el haz y en la unión con el peciolo, no se da en otra parte de la hoja. Observé hojas con un hongo, en la parte izquierda, otras con un hongo a los dos lados y lo mas común, el hongo a ambos lados de la base.
