I have formal training in Marine biology, Ecology, Botany at the University of Cape Town. After which I completed a year internship with CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers), where I gained an immense amount of knowledge on plants species. I am currently working for a small NPO, Nature's Valley Trust (NVT) where I am mainly focused on birds, fynbos and marine and estuarine life.
