I have always been interested in plants and over the years I would look stuff up only to forget what it was the next time that I saw it. I started taking pictures of the flowers in my yard with the intent of identifying and posting to Facebook to help me and others. It turned into an obsession. A friend told me about this website back in September, but I hadn't had a chance to check it out until now and start a page. I have deleted most of the pictures that I used to identify the ones that I have posted. I only kept the best picture of the flower so I need to go around this summer and get some better photos of the leaves and stems to add to what I have posted. A lot of the pictures of snakes and birds are my husbands. And I always appreciate help because I am a completely self-taught amateur.
