Hi there! My name is David, I'm a wildlife biologist and botanist currently working in the private field in Northern California. My work primarily revolves around the effects of renewable energy infrastructure (wind turbines) on raptor foraging behavior and population dynamics in the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta region. Botanically, my work and interests are generally centered around the identification and physical protection of sensitive vernal pool communities in the North Central Valley (Sacramento Valley).

Besides work, I am a portrait and nature photographer, apprentice falconer, upland bird hunter, aspiring detection dog handler, and ethnobotany enthusiast.
