I've been a volunteer at the Big Bend Ranch State Park for over 8 years now. I photograph flora of the area and try to figure out what it is, but I'm bad at it. (My photos are better than my IDs.) I blog about the Chihuahuan Desert and post photographs of the park and its surrounds on Flickr. I maintain the gardens, answer questions from park visitors and lead photo tours in the park.
