Just retired high school biology teacher. Learning to identify all species is really fascinating - however, there are no plans to resort to the microscope. During every nature excursion I've got a new species.
We currently have over half a meter of snow. However, lichens and mosses can be found on tree trunks and rocks. I look forward to spring and the arrival of migratory birds. Good species observations for all of you.
