I spent 20 years studying Northern Spotted Owls on the northern Giffod Pinchot National Forest and included the Northern Barred Owl over the last 10 years, including an analysis of Barred Owl vocaliztions from 10,000 recorded voclaizations. The last 5 years I have been photographing moths attracted by lights as well as any other arthropods that choose to wander by, including 30 species of Collembola, all at my home in Packwood, WA. I'm also interested in plants, fungi, animals - anything in my area.
