Phil Patton is a Director for Montrose Environmental. He is a licensed High Conservation Value Assessor (ALS15041PP) and a registered High Carbon Stock (HCS) practitioner. He has conducted biodiversity assessments and environmental impact assessments and audits in Europe, Asia and throughout Africa. Phil is also an experienced ornithologist, and a registered Professional Natural Scientist (400029/14). He has over 19 years of consulting experience in ecological assessments and environmental auditing within the mining, agriculture, and renewable energy sectors.
Phil holds a B.Sc Hons (Environmental Science) from the University of Cape Town, and a B.Sc (Geology and Botany) from the University of Port Elizabeth and has completed HCV and HCS assessments in the DRC, Sierra Leone, Myanmar, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Cameroon and throughout Southern Africa.
